 Learn to create an attractive and color-accurate image to portray your cool stuff to the world.  Controlling artificial light, and setting your camera controls accordingly, you will learn how to easily capture images of 3D objects.  Whether you are documenting your own creative project or have something you’d like to sell on eBay, the ability to display an attractive, color-accurate image is key to creating good images.

Object Size Limitation:  In the Light Tent we’ll shoot objects less than 10″x10″x10″, On background paper we can go a bit larger.  But all objects should easily fit onto a desktop.

Equipment You Need to Bring:  DSLR or Mirrorless camera, charged battery, flash card, manual.  Prime lens (if you have one) but NOT a wide-angle.

Camera Controls We’ll Use:  Aperture-Priority, Macro & Manual Modes, Full Info Display, Histogram, ISO, Aperture, Shutter-speed, White Balance, Matrix Metering, Center Metering, Self-timer.

Equipment supplied by instructor:  Tripods, Light Tent, WB Tools, CFL lights, CFL dimmer switch, light diffusers, clean white background paper.
