All classes listed are ongoing classes through each semester of the 2012-2013 school year, designed to enlighten and educate your community’s middle & high school students. Weekday classes last the entire semester and require registration for attendance.
Also, if you sign your adolescent hacker up for any of our after school programs, your whole family will receive select membership benefits for the duration of the class. If you take any of our regularly scheduled classes, you will receive the AHA Member discount. This means your entire family can learn to use any and all of our tools, like our 3D Printer, Laser Cutter, CNC Mill, and more for super cheap!

Tuesdays- Arduino & More:
This class will start with gaining knowledge of basic electronics and moving up to using the most popular prototyping microcontroller available. After this class, students will have enough knowledge to begin undertaking larger projects and be able to teach themselves using a large number of resources. Viva le Open Source Revolution!

Using popular and effective video games, students will learn how think critically while working in a group. With a strong emphasis on strong communication, gaining leadership skills, and working well under pressure, there will be plenty of valuable skills that will be attained in one of the fastest growing sports the world has to offer.
Saturday – A Gamers’ Education:
Can you really use video games to learn something new and useful? We say yes, and we aren’t the only ones any more – but, we need your help. In order for us to find out what works and what doesn’t, we need gamers. Our long term goal: Create some of the best open source educational curriculum built around video games, freely available to all.
